This community initiative invites you to showcase the amazing shops and restaurants that make our town special!
Here’s how it works: You don’t need to make a purchase to participate but we’d love to see it if you do! Simply snap a quick photo at any business listed in the Open Rewards App and share it on Facebook or Instagram. Just remember to include these three essential elements: use the hashtag #MyTexarkanaChallenge, tag @MyTexarkana, and tag @ [the name of business you’re highlighting in your post]. It’s that simple!

No purchase is required to participate.
Employees/owners of participating businesses are welcome to join, we ask that you clearly highlight your business and follow the same process.
- How to Participate
To join the #MyTexarkanaChallenge:
- Create a post on Facebook (or Instagram.
- Please include:
#MyTexarkanaChallenge (hashtag)
Tag @MyTexarkana (official page)
Tag the business featured in your post
- Content should spotlight a local Texarkana business, product, service, featured on the Open Rewards App
- Acceptable post formats: text, photo, video, reel, story, or carousel.
- Content Guidelines:
Keep it positive, respectful, and family-friendly.
Posts may not contain: profanity, hate speech, harassment, political attacks, illegal activity, or misleading claims.
Photos and videos should be your own (or clearly credited if you have permission).
If other people appear in your post, you are responsible for obtaining their consent.
- Release & Permissions
By submitting your post as outlined above:
You grant My Texarkana permission to share, repost, or feature your content (with credit) on our website, social media, and marketing materials.
Participating businesses are encouraged to share/repost posts that feature them.
- Safety & Fairness
Please do not film in restricted areas, private property (without permission), or in a way that disrupts business operations.
Do not misrepresent or make false claims about a business.
Automated/bot entries or “spam” posting is not allowed.
My Texarkana reviews and approves any posts that tag this page before they appear publicly.

Challenge posts may be highlighted on My Texarkana platforms and in community spotlights.
Select posts may be chosen for special recognition, local feature stories, or rewards (such as Open Rewards App bonuses).
